The Beginning

Our love for giving back started in 2005 when Big Canyon Homes, Inc teamed up with Make a Wish Foundation to make a young cowboys dreams come true. Brandon, a five year old with leukemia, wished of being a cowboy. Big Canyon Homes, Inc was able to dedicate the basement of a showcase home to Brandon. It was completely custom to Brandon’s liking. All things cowboy—saddles, ropes, boots and a completely custom hand painted mural. We are proud to say Brandon beat leukemia and is currently enrolled in a specialty school. Big Canyon Homes, Inc continues to maintain a relationship with Brandon as well as providing financial support.

Since then, Big Canyon Homes, Inc has continued to support those in need: schools, families, sub for Santa, employees, friends, student programs, county fair events, etc. Last year brought a lot of challenges due to the pandemic. We were very blessed to continue working, we know a lot of people were not as fortunate. During that time we felt that we needed to give back in a bigger way, Big Canyon Homes Foundation was then created. During that first year of the foundation we were able to provide 4 college scholarships. This year we have committed to 12 scholarships along with numerous other donations.

About Big Canyon Homes Foundation

Every dollar raised by the Big Canyon Homes Foundation is given back. Big Canyon Homes, Inc donates all administrative fees to run the foundation. 50% of the proceeds will stay within the Summit County community. We are also proud to announce our partnerships with Primary Children’s Hospital and Operation Pay it Forward, each of these will receive 25% of the proceeds. We are very fortunate to have such an amazing children’s hospital so close to home. For those of you who are not familiar with OPIF, this is a foundation that gives back to our veterans. Without the sacrifice and dedication of our military family, none of this would be possible.
